These three collages were my proposal for FanzineFem, an initiative that brings together artistic pieces under the concept 'Empowered women in mythology'.
Artemis, untamed goddess of hunting, nature, the moon and many other attributes, was my inspiration for these three collages and the one who lead me to her companions Athena and Hestia. The three of them gave up having any relationship with men and thus, they were freed from the grip of Zeus and the model life of the female figure that consisted exclusively of marriage and family.

Self-sufficient and independent, I couldn't think of any better goddesses to represent female empowerment within a mythology where women rarely win.

Esta serie de tres collages fue mi propuesta para FanzineFem, una iniciativa que reúne piezas artísticas bajo el concepto 'La mujer empoderada en la mitología'.
Artemisa, diosa indómita de la caza, la naturaleza, la luna y muchos atributos más, fue mi inspiración para estas tres piezas y el hilo del cual tiré hasta encontrarme con sus compañeras Atenea y Hestia. Las tres renunciaron a mantener relación alguna con hombres y así fueron liberadas de la garra de Zeus y de la vida modélica de la figura femenina que consistía exclusivamente en el matrimonio y la familia. 
Autosuficientes e independientes, no se me ocurrieron mejores diosas para representar el empoderamiento femenino dentro de una mitología donde pocas veces la mujer sale ganando.
